More About Our Lessons
These lessons are individual and are meant to be taken at your own pace. We focus on safety and natural horsemanship, always wearing a helmet that is provided for your use. We build from the ground up and learn everything you need to know about being with horses,
including groundwork, grooming, saddling, riding, and more. I want you to feel completely comfortable and confident before we move to the next level. Learning to work with horses should be fun, exciting, and satisfying; my goal is for this to be your experience at our farm.
Being with horses is a therapy all in itself, with benefits for adults and children alike. (It is my stimulant and my stress relief - nothing else has the ability to leave me feeling both calm and energized!) It is a wonderful way for a child to build confidence that can have effects far after they climb out of the saddle.

As a lifelong horse lover, it is one of my greatest joys to share my love of horses with all my students. I have been giving lessons for a little over eight years now, and I have loved every minute of it. It is my firm belief that learning to ride horses should not include being yelled at or being stressed out about making a mistake. Being with horses is a blessing and a joy. It is my goal to make your time at the stables something you'll look forward to and treasure. My lessons are built around you and your needs. Together, we will see your horse riding dreams come true.
